The Lae Tigers Academy boys who have been training with the Senior players, and now part of the Tigers Under 23 9’s team to play in Goroka this weekend, were paid their 2018 school fees in full for their respective schools.

As a show of commitment and achievement in making the Under 23s team from the Academy and being invited to the Tigers Senior Preseason training, Franchise Boss Ian Chow paid the 6 young Tigers their Tuition fees for 2018 as a Scholarship pathway with The Tigers Academy.

The scholarship will be an ongoing initiative for future young players coming through the Tigers Academy.
